Head Coach - Amy Spangler

Amy Spangler has been a significant figure in the Mad City Badgers, contributing to the team's success and the development of its players. Her coaching career spans over two decades, starting with the team in 1995. Spangler has also coached the U.S.A Women's Wheelchair Basketball Team at three Paralympic Games, showcasing her expertise and dedication to wheelchair basketball. Her influence extends beyond coaching, as she has been instrumental in bringing home gold medals as a Team USA coach, representing the United States at international competitions. Spangler's coaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of inclusivity and the potential for athletes with disabilities to excel in wheelchair basketball. Her commitment to the sport and the team reflects her passion for helping young athletes achieve their full potential.
