Junior Division Wheelchair Basketball Team

The Mad City Badgers are a Junior Division wheelchair basketball team based in Madison, Wisconsin. Managed by Mad City Wheelchair Sports, Inc., our team is proudly registered with the National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) and competes in tournaments across the United States.

Our athletes represent the spirit of dedication, teamwork, and perseverance while competing against teams from across the country. Through wheelchair basketball, our players develop athletic skills, confidence, and lifelong friendships while representing the Madison and surrounding communities on a national stage.

Mad City Wheelchair Sports, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing competitive athletic opportunities for school-age youth with physical disabilities. Our mission is to empower young athletes through adaptive sports while promoting important life skills such as:

  • Healthy physical activity and well-being

As our program grows, Mad City Wheelchair Sports continues to expand opportunities by developing additional adaptive sports programs for youth in Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest.
