The Mad City Badgers are proud to offer Wheelchair Basketball Demonstration Days for schools and community organizations throughout Wisconsin.

These engaging and interactive events give students the opportunity to learn about adaptive sports, experience wheelchair basketball firsthand, and gain a deeper understanding of inclusion and accessibility. Our athletes share their experiences, demonstrate the sport, and often invite students and staff to try playing wheelchair basketball themselves.

Demonstration Days are a fun and memorable way to:

• Promote inclusion and disability awareness

• Introduce students to adaptive athletics

• Encourage teamwork, empathy, and new perspectives

• Inspire students through the stories and accomplishments of our athletes

These events also help us connect with new athletes who may be interested in joining our program, while raising awareness about opportunities for youth with physical disabilities to participate in competitive sports.

Many demonstration days also include fundraising opportunities, such as silent auctions or basket raffles, which help support team equipment, travel, and tournament participation.
